It’s September and holiday crafting starts in earnest for most of us.  Have you even started yet ? Maybe what’s holding you back is you are running low on ideas of what to make ? Or maybe you are a NEW Cricut user and don’t know where to start ?  Or is it possible you are running low on supplies and not sure what you need ?  Today I am going to offer you some tips on how to overcome these issues and get you on the road to crafting your holiday projects with your Cricut !

WHERE CAN YOU FIND SOME QUICK HOLIDAY INSPIRATION ?

During the holiday season I know I am short on time with a long list of To Do’s.  Raise your hand high if that is you too !  In the rush to get everything ready for the holidays, I don’t exactly have the time or energy to design things from scratch but I still love to give and decorate with handmade goods.

My solution is to take a look at the Ready-To-Make Projects in Cricut Design Space.  Here you will find a huge variety of project ideas for whatever holiday you need some inspiration.

Lets take a look at just a few of the many ideas for the upcoming holidays that I found in the Cricut Design Space Ready-To-Make Projects. I picked 3 categories – Fall, Christmas and Winter. These are just a few that caught my eye…there are hundreds to choose from.

As you will see, there are so many ideas for gifts, ornaments, decorations, home decor and more.  There is bound to be something that gets your inspiration going and kickstarts your holiday crafting right away.

Let me show how you can find the Ready-To-Make projects in Design Space so you can find exactly what might inspire you to create your holiday projects.

HOW TO FIND READY-TO-MAKE PROJECTS IN CRICUT DESIGN SPACE

Design Space Screen with Project Button

Start by logging in to your Design Space account and opening a new project. Then select Projects Button in the left menu.

selecting project category

The projects show up in a random order.  To filter the projects, select the categories menu in the upper right corner.

Selecting Make It Now sub categories

Select a category from the dropdown menu.  You can do a secondary search in the projects window next to the categories by typing in the project type you want.  ie. Christmas Category, Cards Project type.

Once you find the Cricut project you want to make and then click on it, you will see all the information about that project pop up.

Lets take a look at what all is covered in the Ready-To-Make Project details.

HOW MAKE IT NOW PROJECTS HELP YOU CREATE FASTER

The great thing about the Ready-To-Make Projects is you can truly make them right away with just the click of a button in Cricut Design Space !  Plus they come with a Project Details page that has a supply list, assembly instructions and tips.  It doesn’t get any easier than that for a rushed for time holiday crafter, right ?

  • Projects you can make right away
  • Project supply list
  • Project instructions to get that project made

DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THESE PROJECTS ?

Now that you are excited about finding a way to speed up your holiday crafting, I bet you want to know if there is a charge for Cricut Ready-To-Make Projects.  Because we all know things with this much value often have a cost.  And yes, there is a charge for Cricut Ready-To-Make Projects but I am going to share with you  how to get the best deal on using these.  *There are some FREE Ready-To-Make Projects too but the vast majority of them are paid projects.

Normally, each project can be purchased in Cricut Design Space separately. It’s usually several dollars for each.  But then you own the images that are included on that project.  But purchasing them separately can really start adding up when you have several projects you want to make.

BEST DEAL FOR READY-TO-MAKE PROJECTS

So what I recommend as the best deal is to get a Cricut Access Subscription.  This will give you access to all the 1,000’s of Ready-To-Make Projects PLUS all the other benefits of the Cricut Access Subscription such 100,000’s of images, fonts and more.

You can choose from two different levels of Cricut Access Subscription – Standard or Premium.

Standard Access can be purchased either Monthly OR Yearly.  If you don’t craft year round, the Standard Monthly would be the most economical to get what you need for just the upcoming holidays. If you craft more year round, then the Standard Yearly might be a great option for you.

Premium Access comes with everything the Standard Access comes with but it includes a few other benefits such as more

See the chart below for all the benefits of each level and make the best decision for your situation.
