  1. I bought a Cricut Explore Air, not knowing the software requirements. They are not listed on their own website, other than buried in customer service questions! I do not have a current laptop, desktop, or ipad. I do however own a newish iphone (I think 5?). Can I install the app and use the cricut on my phone only, until I get an ipad or laptop? Any help appreciated! I don’t want to return the machine that I was so excited to buy, but I don’t really want to buy a whole computer right now either!

    1. Hi Beth – Yes you can use the Cricut Design Space App to design and cut from your iPhone. Go to the App store and download the FREE version of Cricut Design Space (not the Criut Basics). It will walk you through setting up with your iPhone and you will be all set. I use mine all the time that way. Good luck. You will enjoy it I am sure. Make sure to come join us over at Lets Learn Cricut Explore Facebook Group too.

Hi Debbie, I too only have the iphone and was able to download the cricut design space. However, I purchased a zip file from etsy to use and I can’t figure out how to get that to my work? I want to make that design on my cricut explore? Please help if you can.
    Thanks,

    1. Hi Kellie – Unfortunately you are not able to upload a downloaded file in the Cricut Design Space App. You would need to download the file on a computer and upload in your Design Space account. Then you would be able to see it in your images on the Cricut Design Space app to use that file.

  3. We have an explore air 2 and have been able to Bluetooth with the iPad but when trying to connect to our laptop with Bluetooth it ask for a password. We don’t remember that step being used with the iPad.
Is or was there a password that is standard to use at this step?

    1. the password you need is 0000

  4. Im from the Philippines and I had my my new Cricut Explore Air 2 but is there any way I can purchase and use my Philippine credit card (mastercard)? Im so frustrated that onlyfrom US, Canada and UK credit cards are acceptable. Please help me. Thank you.

    1. Hello Len – I am sorry you are having an issue with using your Phillippine credit card. I don’t actually work for Cricut and have nothing to do with their payment policies. Reach out to Cricut Support and see if they have some advice for you.
