The CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge has 5 Styles of cards and I am showing off the 5 Styles on my blog , 1 style each day. The sample cards I made to show you are all Halloween cards for added fun in October but there are many themes to choose from. Check my CTMH Artfully Sent: Sentiment Cards post to see that style of card.

Today, I am going to focus on the SLEEVE CARDS. There are two types of Sleeve Cards you can make…a Sleeve Pocket Card and an Sleeve Overlay Card.

CTMH ARTFULLY SENT: SLEEVE CARDS

Sleeve Pocket

The Sleeve Pocket Cards are sized to fit a 4X6 photo or you can use as a journaling tag holder. This one was made using the CTMH Scaredy Cat Purple Patterned Paper. The paper cut out the delicate looking spider web perfectly. There are two tabs, one on the side and one on the bottom that you glue together after you fold the card pocket card over along the score lines to create the pocket.  To embellish, I cut two spiders from the Happy Halloween Pop Up card icons on the same page 43 in the handbook. One in Black Glitter Paper and one is orange glitter paper and off-set layered them together and used a foam pot dot to adhere to front of web.  I used the Halloween Greetings Stamp set to create the October 31 embellishment backed in Sunset Cardstock.

Sleeve Card

Sleeve Overlay Cards are designed to be cut to make a 5″ X 7″ card.  These cut out as a rectangle and scored in the center to fold over to create the card.  You can line the cut out piece with a complimentary color of paper to really make the image pop like I have done here on this card using Black Cardstock for the base of card and Sunset Cardstock for the inner lining. To embellish, I cut a spider in Purple Glitter Paper from the Happy Halloween Pop Up card icons on the same page 43 in the handbook.

Sleeve Card Inside

For the inside of the card, I used White Cardstock and Black Dye Ink to stamp a border sentiment using the Frightfully Fun Stamp Set.

I really like the detail of the Sleeve Card cut outs.  They cut beautifully in my Cricut Explore using the CTMH cardstock and glitter papers. There are lots of great themes to choose from so these will come in handy for gift giving and papercrafting.
