The CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge has 5 Styles of cards and I am showing off the 5 Styles on my blog , 1 style each day. The sample cards I made to show you are all Halloween cards for added fun in October but there are many themes to choose from. Check my CTMH Artfully Sent: Sentiment Cards post to see that style of card.

Today, I am going to focus on the POCKET CARDS.  There are 3″ X 4″ and 4″ X 6″ Pocket Cards.  These cards are sized that way by Cricut so the cut out design is shown at its advantage.  You can, of course, change the sizing  to what you want but beware the image may not cut as well.

Pocket Cards are great for not only Pocket scrapbooking (uses page protectors with individual pockets on them) but also for:

  • Adding to Card fronts
  • Adding to Scrapbook Layouts
  • Creating Mini Albums
  • Making a tag for a gift
  • Home Decor projects
  • and more

CTMH ARTFULLY SENT: POCKET CARDS

Pocket Boo Card

This adorable card on page 43 of the handbook was made using the Black Glitter Paper (cuts out beautifully in die cut machines and doesn’t flake off) and the Sunset Cardstock. I attached the black glitter cut out only at the top of the Sunset background so I could use it as a Photo Mat on a Scrapbook layout. The cute Ghost Stamp is from the CTMH Frightfully Fun Stamp Set on white cardstock and stamped in black dye ink.

Pocket Eat Drink

Oh my, I love the saying on this card..”Eat, Drink and Be Scary” …it’s just so fun !  The Black Cardstock background really lets those words cut out in the Purple Glitter Cardstock stand out.  A few little White Enamel Star embellishments kicked it up another notch !  This card is perfect to use on the front of a card or scrapbook page but I am using this one as table top decor for my entry hall table along with some other Halloween Decor.

Pocket EEk Card

Spider Webs seem to be a Halloween Icon standard so I loved seeing this image on page 43 in the cartridge handbook.  I knew immediately I didn’t want to just make a flat pocket card but give this one some dimension.  I cut the front of the card out of Black Cardstock and used a white marker to draw the dash lines around the edges and added the word “Eek” to give it a little umpf (that’s a design word, right?!? LOL).  And I used the October 31 stamp from the Halloween Greetings Stamp Set in Sunset dye ink to finish it off.  Next I backed the card with Yellow Glitter Paper to give the impression of a glowing candle behind it. To give this card it’s dimension, I used foam pop dots to adhere the black cardstock on top of the yellow glitter cardstock.   And what is a spider web without a spider ? The pocket card doesn’t come with a spider so I cut a spider out of Purple Glitter Paper from the Halloween Pop Up card on the same page as the Pocket Card (pg 43 in handbook).  I love how this turned out.  I am using it along with the Eat Drink and Be Scary card as table decor.

I really enjoyed making these cards…they were fast and fun ! They will be a great addition to my paper crafting. And remember, there are a lot of different themes in the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge so you are sure to find ones you will love too !

All the products used for the cards are from my Close to My Heart shop. If you want to purchase, please SHOP @ debbieoneal.ctmh.com.  And thanks !

These are really cute! I can’t believe that “Eek” is hand lettered; I’d love to see a stamp set of different words in this font!

    1. Hey Maureen yes it would be fun to have stamps like that wouldnt it ?
